You! as a Youth Worker, whether you are working for an association or not, you can assist the youth from your local community. Using this website you will have the complete step-by-step guide on how to approach the teachings of this subject.
For Whom?
This material is prepared for Youth Workers to assist all youth interested in learning about content creation and following their passions.
Where?
Youth Workers can carry out the workshops in their own way, both locally in a venue in their city or even online if they manage to gather a group, these tools allow it.
How?
This guide has enough material to carry out a workshop for a week, but feel free to add more if you need to. Next, you are going to see the different sections of the program and the materials each participant is going to need before starting.

Preparation
Preparation is key to running a smooth and impactful workshop. Start by securing a suitable venue, such as a youth center or community space, that’s accessible and inviting. Use social media to recruit participants, and streamline the process with an easy-to-use registration form.
Ensure technical readiness by checking the internet connection, setting up a projector or screen for presentations, and testing all equipment in advance. Create a welcoming atmosphere with clear signage and a comfortable layout. A little planning goes a long way in creating an engaging experience for your participants!

Pacing
Feel free to adapt the times of this workshop to your own availability and possibilities. Remmember to end every day with a feedback session and begin the next day discussing what we learned so far. To its biggest and most complete extent, the workshop can take a length of 5 working days, for around 2 hours per day, in the case of the Music workshop, it would look something like the following:
Get to know each other
- Round of participant introductions: what attracted them/their expectations.
- Introduction to social media content creation, its importance, and its impact.
- Exploration of different types of content: photos, videos, text, etc.
- Introduction to using smartphones and photography apps to capture and edit high-quality images. For more options on iPhone, there is the ProCam app.
